Fabian Oefner e lo studio sui buchi neri

Il fotografo svizzero  Fabian Oefner ha avuto il desiderio di studiare nel suo studio il fenomeno dei buchi neri in un modo davvero particolare. Ispirandosi ai lavori di Jackson Pollock, Oefner ha voluto sottolineare ed immortalare non il risultato finale ma il punto di inizio di un lavoro di action painting. Il risultato è davvero interessante a livello visivo, ma a livello concettuale a mio avviso pecca in molti aspetti. Un buco nero per sua natura è una forza attrattiva, tanto grande, che anche la luce tende ad esserne catturata, nel lavoro di Oefner questo aspetto non viene considerato anzi ne viene accentuato l’effetto opposto, e cioè una forza repulsiva, quindi il lavoro presenta non una simulazione grafica di un buco nero ma semplicemente una rappresentazione grafica di una  aspirale colorata. Il lavoro nel complesso è graficamente spettacolare, colorato ed interessante, ma non è l’unico artista ad aver lavorato con i fluidi e con le vernici in movimento.

Photographer Fabian Oefner has had the desire to study the phenomenon in his study of the blacks holes in a very special way. Building upon the work of Jackson Pollock, Oefner wanted to highlight and capture not the end result but the starting point of a work of action painting. The result is really interesting on a visual level, but at the conceptual level in my opinion is lacking in many respects. A black hole by its very nature is an attractive force, so great, that even light tends to be captured in the work of Oefner this aspect is not considered rather it is emphasized the opposite effect, ie a repulsive force, then the work presents not a graphic simulation of a black hole but simply a graphical representation of a aspirale colorful. The work as a whole is graphically spectacular, colorful and interesting, but it is not the only artist to have worked with the media and with paints in motion.
